Here is the list of HP fics where the characters use sex toys. Pay attention to the rules; they are tricky!
My immense gratitude to NQDonne whose posts and musings on the topic I used, to everybody else who helped me with thinking over this theme, to Sulky Rhino for the help with transferring the list to my site, and to Flaminvixen for her help with coding.
What I take:
- the fics where we can see Muggle toys: dildos, vibrators, strap-ons, cock rings and pumps, butt plugs, and other. For the information as for what is considered toys you can read this article on Sex Toys on About.com.
- fics that include toys that are magically altered to perform like Muggle objects or magically improved Muggle toys;
- fics with object penetration (wandplay, animated snakes etc.)
- NB: the theme of this search is not BDSM but toys so, please, toys only in non-BDSM sense (defining BDSM as Bondage, Discipline, Sadisim, Masocisim; for more info on BDSM check this page at Sexuality.org. Nipple clamps/handcuffs, etc. should be used in conjunction with another sex toy and in a sexual act where the main objective is not pain/humiliation, etc. I might make a separate list of BDSM fics later. For now you can check the rec-set of bondage, b/d, D/s, and BDSM fics by Goldennotblonde or lj comm hp_hardcore (although the latter is not only about BDSM).
- I realise that there are, so to say, borderline cases. If you are going to suggest some fics of this kind, please keep in mind the theme! There can be *a little* pain involved or *little* submission or discipline, especially in role-play. If it’s more than a little, save it for another list.
King’s Draco code, or What won’t do:
- no toys in the BDSM sense: no chains, whips, etc (see NB above)
- no nipple/cock piercing; such fics go to the Tattoo and piercing list;
- no WIPs that have only a chapter or two written;
- no drabbles;
- do not bring fics you haven’t read;
