Navigation clue:
If a threesome features Harry, it’s included in “Harry threesomes”. If it features Snape (and doesn’t feature Harry, in which case it will be in “Harry threesomes”), it’s in “Snape threesomes.” The rest is in “Other threesomes.”

Novel-length fics and novellas
Of Wolf and Man, by Maeglin Yedi (or here) ##
Sequels: How To Teach An Old Dog New Tricks (or here) and To See The Human Soul Take Wing (or here)
NC-17. Warnings: Bestiality. Summary: Remus is stuck as a wolf, Harry is stuck with a very unusual and persistent lover, and Sirius is stuck somewhere in the middle.
This was the birth of love. I can’t believe I’ve never wrote an actual rec for this story, only added it to my rec page. It was probably because I thought, “Who hasn’t read Of Wolf and Man?” Well, if you haven’t, what are you waiting for? Although I do think that Maeglin has grown, like, a head since then as a writer, it’s still a good story. Mind the warnings though.
Short and medium-length fics
Duende, by Cluegirl (or here) #
NC-17. Warnings: Chan, sex under diminishes capacities, and some emotional blackmail. Summary: On his first night at Grimmauld Place, Harry discovers that he and his father share a strange allergy. Luckily, Remus and Sirius are there to help see him through. A.N. This story takes place at the beginning of Order of the Phoenix, on the first night Harry spends in Grimmauld Place.
This fic is equally hot (terribly hot!), intense, sad and moving. It’s wonderfully ‘inserted’ into OotP. The imagery is amazing. It just takes you and puts you in there, it’s so real! I loved it!
In Between (NC-17), by Amanuensis (or here, locked) #
NC-17. Summary: Harry’s jealous of both Sirius and Remus. He wants in.
Well, the plot is really no more than what the summary says. Harry wants to be in Sirius and Remus’s bed and he worms his way there. What is remarkable is how well it’s written. On the other hand, it’s not surprising, Amanuensis *is* an amazing writer.
Left Out, by Mousapelli (or here, locked) #
NC-17. Summary: Sirius has noticed something isn’t quite right about the way Harry and Remus are acting.
A bit creepy, a bit funny, a bit angsty. No, Harry isn’t exactly right, you see, Sirius. No, he isn’t. Good writing, amusing reading. Well, maybe you won’t find it as amusing as I did… But it’s an interesting fic nevertheless, especially for a PWP.
Harry Potter/Severus Snape/Draco Malfoy
Novel-length fics and novellas
And Then There Were Three, by swtalmnd #
Snape/Draco, Snape/OMC, Snape/Harry, Snape/Harry/Draco; NC-17. Warnings: Slash, threesome, rimming, mpreg. Summary: Snape asks Draco and Harry to participate in the first round of his Petitioner’s Courtship as a favour, and they both allow themselves to consider his suit more seriously than anyone expected.
This story is written for my challenges (Snape courts Harry and Snape/Harry/Draco love triangle turned threesome), and combines them in a way that’s tailor-made to make me enjoy it :) The main strength of the story is not plot (although there’s some plot of course) or characterisation (they aren’t OOC; they are just grown-up and mellowed). No, Amy sells you on details! If you love various magical stuff, small original things in everyday life in the HP world, head over there. Don’t start reading when you are hungry: ch. 1 will make you go devour everything you can put your hands on. There are so many charming details that I don’t know what to name. Nesting Hedwig? Utterly lovely. The hall of portraits? Very interesting and moving. Small delicious things like this line, “There’s bridge tonight, ghosts versus portraits, and I want to be on my game” — are scattered throughout the story like a trail of breadcrumbs to make your journey delightful.
All in all, it was a wonderful feel-good reading for me, with bits of angst here and there (I love Harry thinking that he’s not wanted), with a complicated three-way relationship, and interesting OCs. One thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t much Ron and Hermione there, like, at all. But you can’t have everything :) Very enjoyable on the whole! Go read.
Boxing Day, by Empathic Siren #
R. Summary: Severus learns an intriguing bit of information about what Harry and Draco get up to on Boxing Day and he wages a one-man war of seduction to secure his invitation for Boxing Day. Warnings: food smut; everyone bottoms and everyone tops; a little bit of power exchange; frottage; sex in public places; voyeurism; a tiny bit of foul language; and a silly little man named Edward.
The story begins as a PWP in elaborate decorations, or with complicated settings. Severus sees more than he should have, i.e. Harry and Draco fucking in the Prefects’ bathroom (they are adults), and now he’s drowning in lustful thoughts. Then, through some misunderstanding, he gets a push to action from an outside source and sets up a very Snape-ish courtship/seduction of both Harry and Draco (who are a couple). Which, in turn, develops into a relationship. Or I better say, a couple of relationships that merge into one later. The fic is amusing, rather romantic and quite delightful. And there are samovar and podstakanniki that Severus inherited from his Russian grandmother and that made me coo :)
An Eye for an Eye, by Arsenic Jade (at Skyehawke, chaptered or at The Archive, in one file) ##
NC-17. Summary: “Harry owes Draco a Life Debt.” Warning: mild BDSM, double penetration.
This fic is love. It was written for me-me-me, for my Snape/Harry/Draco love triangle turned threesome challenge. But it’s not why it’s love. It’s like this: you dream of a certain fic, you post a challenge, desperately hoping for the fic of your dream to be written — and nearly a year later your dream comes true. This fic is what I wanted. Just awwww.
This is a long story that follows the progress of Harry’s relationship with Draco and Snape from bare tolerance to a working threesome. There are, of course, pits and bumps on the way; it’s anything but smooth. The genre is Hurt/Comfort, so there are places to have a healthy cry as well as a contented sigh.
If to compare Arsenic’s fics to art, she doesn’t post line-art. Her stories always have colour and flesh, her storyline is always built into a picture of the big word. To name a few things I found most fascinating, in this fic we can see Harry’s work (and isn’t the idea wonderful!), the consequences of the exposure to the Dark Arts, and Lupin and Tonks’ family. When it was mentioned first, I squealed aloud, “Show us more, please!” And Arsenic does shows us much, much more. I also loved how she wrote Harry. He’s all grown-up but he’s needy, and as for me, it does suit him in this story.
I once told Arsenic that I’d love to live in one of her stories, closer to its end. I’d wriggle into this one if I could.
House of Cards, by Sansa []
NC-17, WIP. Warning: underage. Summary: “An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.” Harry’s plan to defeat Voldemort is becoming dangerously unstable. Is he strong enough to see it through?
Indago and sequels, by LdDurham (scroll down; or here) []
NC-17. Summary: A missed potion reveals a secret about Draco and Snape. They’re of a rare species and have sniffed out Harry as one of their own. Can Harry stand up to the two violent, animalistic, sexually charged Slytherins? Warning: creature!fic, Mpreg.
Quid Pro Quo, T.O.O., by Josan (or here) []
NC-17. Summary: Not given. Here’s mine: It’s prophesied that Harry and Draco must work together to defeat Voldemort. They, however, go along like cat and dog. Their Heads of House and the Headmaster get fed up with it and decide to isolate them from their peers for the winter holidays to teach them to cooperate. The task falls to Snape. Warnings: BDSM (not so much S/M as B/D and D/s).
Sequel: Quid 2.
It’s not the most conventional rec I may have chosen. But it was certainly one of the most interesting fics I recced in crack_broom during the month I was reccing threesomes. I’ll try and explain why.
First of all, it’s porn. A very, very long porn, 22 LJ posts long to be precise. ~700 Kb PWP. PWP? Not quite. Josan herself, quoting one of her readers, calls it PPP: Porn Plus Plot. But more about it later.
This is not a long fic as we used to see them. Usually we either come across a novel-length fic that has been posted in all its entirety or we follow a WIP, which often features the author’s dialogue with the readers. Quid Pro Quo, T.O.O is (was! it’s long ago been completed) the second type, but still it’s unlike any other WIP I’ve read. You know all those WIPs the author starts without any idea where they will go and asks readers what they wish to see? Here in QPQ it’s similar but still different.
Here it looks like this: “Josan, tell us a porny story about Harry, Draco and Snape!”
“A porny story about Harry, Draco and Snape? Hmm…” answers Josan. “O’kay.”
And starts telling a story. It begins like your usual porn (awfully hot!), then develops relationships, then — stories within the story — family and magical history. Later it delves deep into the characters’ psychology, grows fantastic magical theories and practice. But it never falls apart, it doesn’t stray!
Besides, Josan is one of the most original and thorough writers in fandom. One might ask what so original one can invent about the Chamber of Secrets. Read and see!
QPQ isn’t my most favourite fic of hers, but now I’m re-reading it and despite all the small things that should annoy me to no end (like typos or certain words I don’t like or the contradictions with the new canon), I can’t help falling in love with it again.
In every story Josan creates a world, with incredible locations, consistent rules and — the main thing, as for me — much human warmth. Stop to think for a moment, and it will strike you that they step very far from canon. But the development is so logical, so credible that you’ll say, to hell with canon! Josan, tell us about “….”
Through a Shattered Mirror, by Rushlight (or here) #
Companion piece from Snape’s POV: Walking The Mirror’s Edge (or here)
NC-17. Summary: When Harry falls into the hands of the Death Eaters, he learns that life isn’t as black-and-white as he’d once thought it to be. Warnings: BDSM, Chan 16-18, Dark, Dom/Sub Relationship, Multiple Partners, Non-Con.
Short and medium-length fics
Liaison, by Mijan #
NC-17. Summary: “Draco returns to Hogwarts on a business assignment and comes nose-to-nose with a piece of the past he’d been avoiding.”
Hot, light, amusing, everything I wanted. Clueless and infatuated Draco, clueless Harry, Snape in command. Did I say hot? Especially delightful first thing in the morning ‘cos charges you with good mood.
Shine On You Crazy Diamond, by Kat Reitz and tzigane (or here) #
R. Summary: “What would happen if Harry finally lost absolutely everything?”
This is a very strange fic. Yeah, when a fic by Kat and tzigane wasn’t strange… This is a necromancy fic. Stop! Don’t run away! Please, read it! Kat and tzigane don’t write to squick or shock their readers. And although you’ll find many boderline squicky things in this fic, it’s not about walking corpses. Oh well, it is. But not like this. Harry loses his lovers. One is killed, the other is Kissed. They were all that was left for him, and, desperate, he tries to resurrect them but the spell doesn’t work as intended. The fic is angsty but the weirdness of it brings in the ‘enstrangement’ that eases the angst.
I see, now I’ve frightened off every posible reader. Don’t listen to me. There’s more, much more in this fic than just two soulless bodies trailing after their ‘master’. And the ending is [although also weird] very moving and amusing.
The Symmetry of Absence, by frogslayr ## (locked)
R. Summary: Snape puts up with Draco, who fancies Harry. And there’s a cat.
It was written for my challenge (SS/DM/HP love triangle turned threesome), so I probably shouldn’t rec it all over the place. But I think, sod this thought. I love this fic. It’s absolutely adorable, one of my most favourite threesome fics ever.
From the very beginning of Draco’s life, Snape has had to look out for him. Draco is a loud, annoying brat, careless and self-sentric. He fills Snape’s office with his inane chatter, he sulks and pouts; he likes candied ginger, and he’s all about Potter — Snape has no chance to resist him.
Frogslayr’s style is a peculiar thing. For instance, she can write a most sentimental scene in a dry voice, choosing her words so that to make it a bit ridiculous. So when tears spring to your eyes, you can’t help but smile, too. I love how she shows us a deep insight into her characters’ feelings and minds without long introspections or awfully meaningful dialogs. Using short scenes and masterfully chosen details, she makes the readers understand and *like* Snape, Draco and Harry, feel for them equally, however absurd or oblivious they might be at times. And then there’s a damn funny fourth main character, a cat with several names that ends up being a cat with no name.
For me this story is as irresistible as Draco for Snape and Harry for Draco :). Go read, I promise you’ll enjoy it!
Wooing Harry Potter, by Mahaliem #
PG-13. Warnings: If you’re looking for an angsty, plotty story that plumbs the emotional depths of the various characters as they fall irrevocably in love, then keep looking because this isn’t it. Pancakes have more depth than the characters in this story. Summary: Harry is wooed by both Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy.
I know I should speak of the fics, not the writers, but I’ve read every HP fic Mahaliem ever posted and some non-HP ones too. She’s a writer whose very manner of writing speaks to me. And I dearly love her humour, which I called gentle and absurd on innumerable occasions. I have a rather peculiar sense of humour; it’s difficult for me to find things I’d see as funny. So I love Mahaliem’s writing all the more because it makes me grin or laugh.
So, this story has Mahaliem’s patent style (which I love), sure writing, funny dialogues, certain details that are lovely or moving. Of course I was charmed! And laughed out loud several times — you know, that surprised and delighted kind of laughter that just bursts out of you. Sure rec.
Other Harry threesomes

Beyond This Point Lie Monsters, by Hijja (also at Skyehawke) #
NC-17. Harry/Lucius/Tom. Warning: Ambiguous Consent. Summary: When Harry sneaks into Hogwarts nether regions to spy on a visiting Lucius Malfoy, he has no idea what he’s getting himself into. A different kind of showdown, in the Chamber of Secrets and beyond, between Lucius Malfoy, Harry Potter and Tom Riddle.
Corvus Fallere, by Mouse (or here) #
Harry/Ron/Hermione/Snape, NC-17. Summary: How long do you fight when you’ve already lost? Harry, Ron, and Hermione must survive in a world where all is not what it seems; but what it seems is unbearable. Warnings: this story is chalk full of things other people don’t want you to read about. Sex, BDSM, Slash (gay sex), Het (non-gay sex), non consensual sex, slavery, violence, death, and birds. Not necessarily in that order. But, hey, you’re into that… right?
I was blown away when I first read this fic. It has plenty of kinks I don’t like, but it’s so powerful that I was unable to stop reading and so memorable and original that it’s impossible to forget it.
The story is a dystopia where the side of Light has lost. After long months of imprisonment, Harry, Ron and Hermione have to face the prospect of becoming slaves — without any rights or even names. They are taken by Snape for tuition and training and surrounded by weird creatures. The training is hard, aimed to break and recreate them as something else entirely.
Beside being dark, the universe is really bizarre. But it has certain logic. Yes, it’s dark but Snape here has enough ambiguity and dark appeal to keep his new slaves on tiptoe, torn between self-loathing and disgust on the one hand and fascination and attraction on the other.
The author masterfully plays on the differences in Harry, Ron and Hermione’s psychology to move the story along. Who will submit first and why? How will they fight and why? What is this strange place they happened to be locked in? What are those creatures that sort of serve them but sort of own the place?
It’s not a fic to be missed, really.
A Devil Haunts Thee, by klynie (or here) #
Severus/Remus/Harry in various combinations; NC-17. Warnings: Somewhat dubious consent, voyeurism, rough sex. Summary: While battling the Ministry of Magic, Remus Lupin confronts his inner demons as well.
I read this story like glued to the screen: couldn’t do anything else until I finished it. It’s plotty, and the plot is interesting. It’s set post-war; the Ministry is tightening its fist on the war heroes, neutralising them one by one. Due to his relationships with various parties, Remus happens to get in the middle of it. What I absolutely loved in this story is how the author wrote the very complicated relationships, see pairings. They are all wonderful, real, and when it comes to sex, really hot. I loved the characterisation of all the three of them — except Remus’s characterisation in one scene. I think he’s much more observant and intelligent to fall for the same trick of Snape’s twice, what after the end of HBP. So IMO, either he wouldn’t fall for it or it needs some explaining on the author’s part. But this is just one minor thing. As I said, I really liked the rest. klynie makes it work. They are all different, human, flawed, but in every combination you can see how they work together, why they work together. This is quite possibly one of the best takes on this threesome (when they make it a threesome!) that I’ve read, or at least one of the most interesting and believable ones.
Elemental Tapestry, by Vera (dragons_muse) (requires password; or here) []
Foursome, Harry/Ron/Snape/Draco; NC-17. Summary: Four lives are woven together for a greater purpose.
Absolutely not flawless but very interesting. The fic is very uneven. Some pieces are nearly perfect, some hang like a loose thread, in the respect of writing ‘cos the plot is OK, in my opinion. But overall it’s really very original, especially in its magic/mythology, so please don’t let my words about unevenness avert you. I think that if this fic undergone a “heavy editor’s paw”, it would become one of my favourites. But even as it is now, some scenes and images just dwell in my mind. Some details are strange, to be polite, and some are true diamonds, so as a result it makes the impression of a raw talent that needs honing. But talent it is.
The Semblance of Peace, by Maeglin Yedi (or here) ##
Harry/Voldemort, Harry/Tom, Harry/Voldemort/Snape; NC-17. Warnings: manipulation, mind-fucking, dubious consent, minor character death, a bit of H/G het, not very graphic. Summary: Voldemort is finally dead, or so the wizarding world believes. Unfortunately, Harry knows better.
This is a brilliant story! I was going to read it anyway ‘cos I’m reading all Reversathon fics (or at least trying them), but then I saw Regan_V’s rec and thought, “Wow. If they made Regan read and enjoy Voldemort, it must be something.” So I started it immediately, and my, am I glad I did! It was several hours of pure, absolute enjoyment. I’m completely blown away.
I didn’t believe in this Voldemort at first — spoilerish thoughts ahead, so skip to the next paragraph if you don’t want to know: I’d expect him to be less reasonable and to force Harry with pain and taking over him much more. But by the second chapter I sort of forgot about it. It’d ceased to matter. By ch.4 I had been absolutely in love with the story, and kept peeking at the bottom of each post, scared that it’s the end already. When the bottom of ch.7 revealed that it was the end, I nearly whimpered.
I told the author that I think this is the real magic of storytelling. It’s written wonderfully, every thing is made work, every detail and scene. The fic avoids both common paths of the Harry/Voldemort fics: it’s neither particularly dark nor makes Voldemort a fluffy bunny, that is OOC. Here he’s human, awfully complicated and even fucked-up but not without appeal, nor is he two-dimensional. There are places where you want to strangle him with your own hands, but then there are where you don’t. He’s believable; Harry is wonderful, and Snape is entirely Snape-ish.
I’d like to repeat: the fic isn’t very dark. Yes, some pretty bad stuff happens in it, but some good stuff does too. It’s not light and funny adventures, but there are amusing scenes, and moving, aww-worthy ones. It’s just a good story that doesn’t fit the labels such as “dark,” or “angst,” or anything else really. Simply a very good story.
The Soul Adores, by Maeglin Yedi ##
Harry/Tom, Harry/Snape, Harry/Tom/Snape, NC-17, long. Warnings: dubious consent, manipulation, underage (Harry turns 17 in the story), secondary character deaths. Summary: Harry gets his hands on Slytherin’s locket, but gold is not all he finds. In a desperate bid to gain crucial information, Harry attempts to play the player, with unpredictable results.
It’s a rare thing that I would rec a fic on crack_broom while the author is still unknown, but the fic is so good that I don’t want to waste the chance. This fic features a most perfect Harry, independent and stupid and so Harry! I wanted to shake him until his teeth rattle for his clever plans and solutions, for how he doesn’t simply walk inside a trap but first makes it, and then marches in. Suspense and foreshadowing in this story are nothing short of masterful — I kept clicking away to another window ‘cos I couldn’t bear the tension but then clicking back immediately ‘cos it’s impossible to get away from this story until you read it to the end. Tom is also perfect — manipulative and evil but attractive, and Snape made me fall for him head over heels. It’s not a dark fic, although some parts of it are pretty dark. And the ending, ah, as for me, it’s perfect too. Amazing, brilliant, and full of clever magic! Run, don’t walk!
new Stolen, Stolen, by GatewayGirl #
Charlie/Harry, Harry/Snape, Charlie/Harry/Snape, NC-17, 16K words. Summary: While Harry is visiting Charlie, he goes looking for a thief, and finds someone unexpected. DH-compliant.
Harry has a casual relationship with Charlie (who’s absolutely great here!), trying to figure out his sexuality and what he wants at all after the war, while Ginny is off doing the same and trying to heal war-related traumas. He stays with Charlie in the Romanian dragon reserve (which is also absolutely fantabulous here!), having lots of hot (awesome!) sex and helping with some tasks. One day, recovering fresh dragon egg shells the reserve sells for maintaining itself, they find a poacher, who, as you could tell looking at the headers, turns out to be Snape. Alive but badly injured. I loved Snape here. Vicious and snarky even at the worst of his condition, vulnerable and starved for — something. I also absolutely loved Harry. He sort of grew up but stayed in character. And the sex was steaming hot. Wonderful story!
Short and medium-length fics
Bed of Bones, by Dianann (ladyflowdi) []
Snape/Lupin, Harry/Snape/Lupin; NC-17. Warnings: Bondage, spanking, sex toys, non-con, voyeurism, wanking. Summary: What Harry must do to remain sane, after the events of Book 5. Written for Merry Smutmas on LJ.
I really liked the beginning, how Harry watches rain, how he talks to Sirius in his head, how he gradually withdraws from everything, how he runs into Snape and Lupin. I think it all was fantastic. It was heartbreaking and hot. I can’t say I liked the ending, though. It’s as if a car was climbing up a hill, it was all very intense, but then the peak is passed and what follows is a smooth slide with the engine turned off. But still this fic stands out and has many memorable details.
The Blaze of Noon, by Nimori #
Harry/Snape/Sirius; NC-17. Summary: Once upon a time, a man fell through a veil, and life went on without him.
Sirius comes back from beyond the veil having lost his senses: deaf, blind, almost catatonic. Harry gradually brings him back to life. His lover, Snape, helps him. Senses return one at a time, very slowly. Sirius is impatient and proud, when things don’t turn out as he wants them to be, he’s furious, but disability limits even his ways to express anger…
“But at the first sign of Harry’s hands leaving his, Sirius clutched and clawed, his tendons standing out from his over-thin arms, and his mouth opened too wide for the low moan that followed.
“Shh, I’m here. It’s all right.” Harry stroked his godfather’s hands, and glanced at the door as if to call back Severus, whom he’d sent to shower and check that their house was still standing. “I’ve got you. I won’t let go. Not this time.”
Sirius did not react to his words, but when Harry squeezed, Sirius squeezed back.”
The story is amazing. Don’t say I think so because I’m such a fan of Nimori. Well, I am, but exactly because she can write such things. The short scenes of The Blaze of Noon create a perfect rhythm: there’s nothing superfluous there, all details work; it’s neither angsty nor fluffy. The language is neither too simple nor too florid or too expressive. Everything is as it should be, as for me.
Congress Tripartite, or season your virgin with a generous pinch of salt, by Jay Tryfanstone (locked) #
Harry/Snape/Lucius; NC-17. Written for Djin7 in pornish_pixies: Lucius/Severus/Harry where Harry gets the upper hand and has his evil (and by ‘evil’ I mean has-absolutely no idea what do, as it is an unexpected boon, and he is a Gryffindor virgin *woot*) way with them. *nodnod* Hopefully, making them earn their keep. Warnings: Consent issues (please note) should be referred to the Wizengamot.
The Fairy Tale of Git, Dog, and Murderer, by gypso_child #
Harry/Sirius/Snape; PG-13. Summary: Xanadu is an idyllic, beautiful place, much like a children’s fairy tale. […] This is not a stereotypical Xanadu; it is not happy and full of joy. It is angry, desperate, and deranged in turns, but for these three, that works astoundingly well.
In the post-war world, Harry is a pariah. Sirius stands by him. One day they find a drunk Snape and keep struggling on together. Despite the title, this story isn’t a fairy tale at all or even a fractured fairy tale. The word and epigraphs to the sub-chapters just set the perspective. I particularly liked the narrative intonation in this story. Very pleasant reading, even if angsty.
In Camera, by Marks (or here) #
Snape/Harry, Harry/Sirius, Harry/Snape/Sirius; NC-17. Summary: in camera - From Latin, meaning in secret; privately.
Many centuries into the future, there’s an historical find, a vault that contains materials about two legendary figures of the distant past, Harry Potter and Severus Snape. For the guys who research the findings these past heroes are the same awsome thing as the Founders were for Harry’s generation, i.e. legends of whom little is known and every scrap of information is carefully researched and preserved. The newly found documents about Harry Potter turn upside down the image of him that has been in his descendants’ heads for ages.
This fic has so many fascinating things! It’s very clever. In passing mentions you learn lots about how the world has changed since our time. The fic is truly multifaceted; the narration combines several points of view: those of two original characters from the future and the voices of our heroes that rise from the old documents. It’s a story within a story, reconstructed from bits and pieces, and what a fantastic story it is! Don’t expect it to be dry or just clever. It’s lovely, moving and even hot. Fabulous reading!
Long, Hot, and Slow, by Shocolate (locked; you’ll have to join) #
Ron/Seamus/Harry with some Harry/Hermione, Ginny/Dean and mention of Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny. Kink: Double Penetration. NC-17. Summary: Who would win Ron’s boyish heart? Harry Potter, his troubled and dashing and raven haired and dashing best friend or Seamus Finnegan, the cheeky and dashing Irishman with the attractive bollocks?
The Pimp My Threesome fest opened with a delightful, very amusing Ron/Seamus/Harry threesome written from Ron’s POV. Why is it that nearly every Ron first person fic I read is a pleasure? Must be luck. Anyway, it’s a charming, light story, lovely but not fluffy, amusing just on this side of cracky. The summary doesn’t really do it justice, so I’m very glad I was feeling adventurous (Seamus? Not my hero) and clicked. Totally fabulous, especially the ending. Butt cheeks looking at each other about their exhibitionist arsehole and pottery evening classes killed me dead! Go read!
The Malfoy Guide to Productive Extortion, by Mirabella (locked; you’ll have to join; or here) #
Harry/Draco/Ron; Harry/Draco; NC-17. Summary: “Harry’s either drunk and horny or drunk and cuddly, depending on your point of view. Ron’s straight but no one holds it against him. Draco could hand out detentions, but he has a better idea.”
Drunken sex. Inebriation leads to the lack of coordination and lowered inhibitions. Which, observed by a sober person, means fun. Which, in its turn, prevails over realism. This fic is funny or at least amusing. It’s also in places sweet and hot. I enjoyed it.
A New Pet, by Jordan Grant (or here) #
Draco/Padfoot; Harry/Sirius/Draco; Harry/Padfoot/Draco; NC-17. Summary: “Collars. Draco. A new pet.” Warnings: bestiality, non-con/dub-con, Ds.
This is one of those fics that are dark but not so dark as to make you horrified or depressed. I wouldn’t call it a darkfic. I’d call it delightfully darkish and rich with possibilities. As it often happens with good stories, there are different ways to read them. Everybody finds something special in them, and the readers often put quite different accents in their interpretations.
I read A New Pet as a story about Draco, although it’s told from Sirius POV (3d person). Draco is a nasty little bugger we all know and (some of us) love, who grew up but remained the same, arrogant and self-enamoured. He’s scheming and planning, but of course all his schemes come back to bite him on the arse.
It’s several years after the war. Draco, who opportunely went over to the right side, devises a cunning plan to bring Harry down. He kidnaps Sirius and keeps him leashed as Padfoot, a charmed collar preventing him from transforming back. Padfoot has to earn his keep, behave like a good dog and all the while wait for Harry to come for him. Days pass, but the rescue somehow isn’t in a hurry.
I should stop here lest I let out too much. This fic is “very NC-17,” so you can expect it to have plenty of hot (and kinky, and very fresh!) sex. But there’s so much more than sex! The story has a most devious plot and wonderfully drawn, complicated characters. And it’s really amusing in places.
Imagine Ron Weasley’s face from the PS/SS movie when he sees Harry’s scar and blurts, “Wicked!” That would be the best way to convey my impression of this fic.
A Prelude to Valour, by Nimori (or here) ##
Snape/Sirius, Sirius/James, Snape/Sirius/Harry; NC-17. Warnings: AU, underage (15), voyeurism, rimming, disturbing content, past character deaths. Summary: Snape saves Harry from the Dursleys. Harry doesn’t want saving.
Give me a good AU, and I’m forever yours. This is a most fabulous AU, so don’t be surprised if you see “property of Nimori” stamped on my forehead. The AU Nimori created has several layers, and unraveling them is nothing short of fascinating. Everything in it is not — or not quite — what it seems. Young Harry leads a perfectly normal life. He lives with his sweet aunt’s family, plays with his wonderful cousin Dudley, but all of a sudden his world is turned upside down when a sinister man — wizard! — Severus Snape kidnaps him to take him to the man’s master. You think, Lord Voldemort? Nothing of the kind.
You’d think that once Harry gets used to the new life, the lie that was his former life will be uncovered, and they will live happily ever after. But everything turns out to be very far from being what it seems in this new life of his too! Although their roles are very different from canon (and from what we are used to seeing in fanfic, too!), the characters we love, they are still them, but look how these new circumstances make them shine!
Wonderfully written, interesting, plotty and sexy, what else would one want? And dark-ish. But not a darkfic.Go read!

The Fascination of What’s Difficult, by Titti #
Snape/Draco; Snape/Draco/Bill; NC-17. Summary: “Severus loses his magic. Bill tries to find a cure and in the process he discovers that complications are the road to love.”
The fic is light and ‘attractive’, in Titti’s best style. For me this story was very visual with its simple contrasting colours: black, white, red. There are some minor grammar errors, which I strongly recommend to oversee because the fic is very enjoyable.
Nary a Grain of Good Sense, by Josan #
Snape/Twins; NC-17. Author’s Notes: chazpure indicated she was not averse to “sex in/under water, foodsmut, h/c with happy ending.”
The narrative manner here reminds me so much of one of my favourite HP writers that I suspect it is her. (ETA: as it turned out, it is :) ) Either that or I might have found a new writer to read a lot :) What about that manner? It’s seems to be a bit awkward or unusual, just enough for it to make you pay attention and capture you. The plot? My dream of the last year; I even asked for it in pornish_pixies summer fest, but didn’t get lucky then. Imagine how happy I am that I didn’t ‘cos I can read it now, and it’s novella, not just 5K words!
The twins decided to acquire a Snape for their enterprise — and bed, of course, why would one not want to when there’s a perfectly good Snape available? So, they approach the ever-sour Snape and begin to turn him human. How? With twin balls the size of Bludgers and… kindness. It’s sexy, very smutty, very detailed and, as for me, a wonderful feel-good reading. Well, apart from feel-hot of course :)
Vivify, by Eolianbeck / lightgetsin #
Sirius/Lupin/Snape; NC-17. Summary: How to survive your own death in a couple hundred not-so-easy steps. Sirius struggles with living, Remus struggles with his conscience, and Snape forgets to struggle at all.

Ouroboros, by Isis #
Snape/Draco/Lucius; NC-17. Warnings: threesome, incest (after a fashion). Summary: A Charms class accident sends Draco back in time to his father’s schooldays. My sexy, humorous tribute to the movie Back to the Future.
Prince of Dogs and Fools, by Nimori #
Snape/Draco/Sirius; NC-17. Summary: The trick — Dumbledore’s best — is not in getting them to do as you wish, but making them want as you want. Warnings: voyeurism, threesome, mentions of BDSM, Chan(ish): adult/teen.
This fic is fun. No, it’s not a comedy per se, but it has its share of funny moments, and it’s really clever as things written by Nimori are often wont to be. The story starts off right after the end of HBP, but instead of the ocean of angst, it offers us a quirky plot and wonderful smut. Dumbledore is dead. But he keeps meddling in the affairs of the living even from beyond the grave, i.e. from a crumpled, dog-eared Chocolate Frog card. I loved this version of Dumbledore and his interactions with Snape who owns the card and so, naturally, has to abide by its whims. On his first mission, the Chocolate-Frog Dumbledore sends Snape to a Muggle/Wizard club to retrieve somebody. Which somebody turns out to be a drunk, ragged rock star Stubby Boardman. You think it’s who you think it is? Well, yes, and there are fabulous reasons for that! The thing is, this Stubby Boardman person doesn’t have any idea who he really is. It’s Snape’s task to refresh his memory. But Snape also has to play a nursemaid for Draco, who has serious designs on Snape and does stupid things out of jealousy. Want to know how the knot is untangled? Go read! Wonderfully written, very enjoyable story!
A Spirit of Brotherhood, by Torch (flambeau) #
Gennish Sirius/Lupin/Snape; PG. Summary: Tea, nightshirts, and blood. Cooperation isn’t all it’s cracked up to be for Sirius, Severus, and Remus.
This is a threesome fic that is not focused on sex. As much as I enjoy PWPs, I like the fics that speak of relationships better. It’s beyond difficult to write such a fic so that it works for general audience, not only for shippers who are ready to suspend their disbelief for the sake of squeeing over their favourite characters. A Spirit of Brotherhood, I believe, will work for people regardless of their favourite ships.
It’s a bonding fic where the bond is very far from being a cheap trick. The spell does bring them together, but it looks neither cheap nor easy. Torch writes her characters so that they stay in character but manage to form a relationship that looks absolutely believable.
The story is set post GoF. Dumbledore asks Snape, Lupin and Sirius to cast a spell that will let them work magic together. They are three difficult adults with a history of antagonism and outright enmity. Each of them has his own issues; neither wants to work with the other two, especially when the nature of the spell is explained to them. But each of them has it in himself to do what must be done.
As for me, this story is a masterpiece.
Wormwood, by Rex Luscus #
Harry/Snape/Lupin; NC-17. Summary: Snape/Lupin/Harry. It’s after the final battle, and Snape is lucky Harry and Lupin got to him first. Warnings: Potentially disturbing violence. Rimming, double penetration.
Harry and Remus captured Snape and now are interrogating him, only he refuses to cooperate at all. They opt for some “humane torture,” delicately starving Snape and asking him the same questions for days — until Harry snaps. Then the tide turns. The very premise is rather unusual, wouldn’t you say? ‘Harry captures and tortures Snape’ after HBP isn’t. ‘Remus tries to find and understand Snape’ isn’t either. But in such a combination? It is. The fic is well-written, there’s a lot of sex, besides :)

new Dirty Laundry, and the Airing Thereof, by Xylodemon #
James/Remus/Sirius (and permutations), NC-17, ~ 18600 words. Warnings: Threesomes, wanking, voyeurism, dirty talk, and boyfumbling. Summary: In which we discover there are three sides to every story. Except for when there are four. Except for when there are five.
Five versions of the same episode. I wouldn’t believe that I could see a story like that as anything other than a successful formal experiment but I simply loved this one. The POVs here challenge and cancel each other. You read the first version and a picture forms in your head. Then you go on to the next one, and it turns upside down. Then again. It’s fun! And it sort of illuminates the essence, the message of the story :) Besides, the character voices are nigh perfect. All in all, this is a Marauder era story I am happy to read. Sheer pleasure! Matchstick, hairpin, matchstick, matchstick. Hee!
The Man Who Would Be King, by Xylodemon (or here) #
Sirius/James, Sirius/Remus, Sirius/James/Remus; NC-17. Summary: How it happened, from beginning to end, as told by the man who started it all.
I usually don’t care about Marauder-era fic, but I liked this one. The very beginning of this story captured my attention at once because I believed the voice to belong to Sirius; it rang true to me. And the formalized structure here works really well. It’s not device for device’s sake; it shows us Sirius relationships with his friends from inside and outside at the same time — all those messy and amusing situations and tangled up emotions. At the same time the alternation of POVs and tenses lessens the angst — but it isn’t overly angsty anyway. I liked it very much.
A Season in Hell, by Jain (or here) #
Remus/Sirius/Draco; PG-13. They’re all doing their best to survive.
A magical vortex appears in the Defence classroom, and Draco Malfoy is sucked into it. Remus Lupin hurries to follow; the vortex closes. They appear in hell. The story tells us how they live in that hell for several months. It’s quiet and fascinating. The threesome that is very hard to write is made perfectly believable. Good reading!
What’s On Your Mind, by Mousapelli (or here) []
Sirius/Remus/Bill; NC-17. Summary: Harry’s got a little crush on an Order member, and Bill’s starting to think it isn’t a half-bad idea.
