Jeeves/Wooster, PG, two short parts.
The difficulty this brilliant canon and this pairing represent is that everything loses all its attractiveness as soon as the author takes a false note. Which happens far more often than not. One anachronism, one false expression and the effect is ruined. How can you put these two into an awkward, sweaty, and not ironic position without losing the style? You don’t just say “his hard length” unless you can make it sound good in Bertie’s or Jeeves’s voice. It’s a difficult task.
Well, this fic is not explicit at all, but once again, for this canon even communicating slashy intention is a task. In this story, it’s done wonderfully. The author simply lets her characters
speakwrite. I do admit that Jeeves’s letter (the letter) seemed a bit too easy to me, but just a tiny bit. The fic is funny, light, and awfully cute. Sheer pleasure!
Jeeves and the Blessed Indiscretion, by shalott (astolat) (also at the Yuletide site) ##
Jeeves/Wooster, PG, one-shot. “Having dragged the corpus out of bed and tottered downstairs in something just short of a panic, I consider I was justified in being cross when I found Jeeves quite composedly sweeping the hearth in the sitting room, with no signs of the heart-attack or the impending-stroke to mar his appearance.”
I’ve read and liked shalott’s HP fics but never knew she wrote J&W. Now that I can see she wrote some Sherlock Holmes, I’m going to read them too. I’m sure they are going to be wonderful; she’s just that kind of writer who turns everything she touches into gold, without any bad king Minas connotations.
This fic was written for Yuletide 2004, and it’s totally brilliant, so I’m forwarding the rec by Rinsbane who recced it to me. Bertie’s voice is spot-on; it’s all built on subtle nuances and turns of expression, but it has plot, too! And what is more, the story is very moving without any heavy play on your buttons. After this fic, it will likely be hard to find J&W fics that compare. Awesome!

Jeeves/Wooster. Sorta. Rating: PG for snark and fourth-wall breakage. Warnings: Image-heavy, for those with slow connections. Meta-heavy, too.
This
ficmeta is really funny, better than any fiction, more so that it pokes fun out of it. I laughed like crazy; post #2 with its recurring Munch is, IMO, even better than #1. It’s promised to be continued — not a WIP per se, think of it as of an on-going series.
The Matter of the Bed, The Matter of the Theatre, The Matter of the Poetic Soul, by youofwales #
Jeeves/Wooster, PG, short. SUMMARY 1: On holiday at the seaside. SUMMARY 2: Theatrical diversions, an unwanted engagement, a relationship in crisis, and an actor named Buxton Holderley-Smythe. SUMMARY 3: Bingo Little’s in love again, but Jeeves has a brilliant solution.
Charming, sweet, and funny. Maybe not always quite believable, but lovely and not unbelievable. The author is good at reproducing Bertie’s ways of talking and thinking. I particularly enjoyed the very Wodehousean discussion of the merits of plays in story 2. Very enjoyable, parts 2 and 3 are even plotty! Miscommunications, engagements, and a lot of scenes that made me laugh and some that made me melt.
“I’m sure we’ll get along awfully well,” Anthea said.
“Probably,” I said, still distracted.
I have noticed, during my visits to Brinkley, that Aunt Dahlia spends a great deal of time with her eyes uplifted toward the ceiling. I have looked at the ceiling myself, but have never found anything of more than passing interest there. Her absorption in it is a great mystery to me. She was, in fact, looking ceilingward at that very moment.
The Sleeping Aid, by derien []
Jeeves/Wooster, PG, short. Summary: Bertie can’t sleep. Jeeves, as always, has the answer.
This one is a bit simpler and more straightforward than the ones above but still lovely. It’s difficult to write about anything physical in this pairing, so I feel like commending the author for the attempt. I wouldn’t call it quite successful, but it’s not unsuccessful either.
Jeeves Makes A Move, by veronamay []
Jeeves/Wooster, G, short. Summary: Schmoop. Christmas schmoop, even.
The summary is concise and truthful :) I can’t say I quite believe Jeeves’s characterisation, but it’s a lovely, warm story, and it reads well. Jeeves’s POV. This bit of fluff was brought to you courtesy of gournay who pointed me to it :)

Jeeves/Wooster, R, one-shot. Summary: Jeeves doesn’t want tips from Bertie anymore. What could he want instead?
So, I got curious about this writer and went to look for more Jeeves and Wooster fics of theirs. And to my delight, I did find more. This one is a wonderful story, one of the best J&W fics I’ve read so far: funny to rival the source, lovely, interesting, well-written. It’s the first rather graphic J/W fic I’ve seen, and I rather liked the way the author navigated her way through sex. I mean, really, how is one to write sex in Bertie-talk? Well, keeping to Bertie-talk and trying not to overdo. I can’t say it quite worked for me, but it didn’t really chafe. The rest though is simply delightful.

Found via the story above, at the bottom of which it was recced. Totally absurd and awfully funny, probably the funniest J&W fic I’ve read. I laughed out so loud I though I’d wake my neighbours.
Jeeves Cuts a Gordian Knot, by weaselwoman13 (or here) #
Jeeves/Wooster, PG-13, one-shot. Notes: Includes a made-up composer, Florence Craye, and a joke which the astute will observe was ripped straight off from Fawlty Towers.
Very Wodehousean, maybe because the beginning of Bertie/Jeeves relationship is skilfully omitted and what is shown of it isn’t too graphic and plays into the main intrigue, which is perfectly canon: brightly coloured ties that Bertie loves and Jeeves hates and another attempt on Bertie by one Florence Craye.
You know, I’d never expect so many enjoyable Jeeves and Wooster slash fics out there! Have read a dozen already, wow, and more to read via Sine_que_non767’s recs in crack_van and Slash Cotillion J&W section.
